To Make a Sale, You Have to Be…

Patient.

You have to be patient when you want to make a sale.

It doesn’t matter if you’re selling a 10 cent widget or a $10,000 software program.

If your prospect isn’t ready to buy, or even worse, isn’t even thinking about buying, you can’t MAKE her buy.

You see… you can’t CREATE demand for your product or service. Sorry — I don’t mean to burst your bubble.

But… what you can do is channel her already existing desire to YOUR product or service.

You Can’t Create Demand… You Can Only Be There When She’s Ready

An old-timer in the copywriting world once wrote you have to enter the conversation that’s already taking place in your prospect’s head.

So if she isn’t thinking about buying your landscaping service… at that moment… just be patient.

If you’ve done your research and you know she’s a good prospect (you did do your research didn’t you?) then one day she’ll finally decide it’s time.

And when she does, your expertly crafted and delivered message will be right there — waiting for her — ready to solve all her problems.

That’s all for today. I really just kinda pulled this out of my “you know where”. I got caught up writing a Landing Page and email sequence for a client.

He’s got a pretty cool service. He is a musical therapist (I didn’t know there was such a thing) and he’s created a program to help teach students world geography.

I won’t go into too much detail, but once I’m done, with his permission, I’ll send you the Landing Page copy.
